Peace

Matthew 5:9
Blessed are the peace makers for they shall be called the sons of God.

A child is like their parent. God is a God of peace, of SHALOM. The children of God are people of peace.

What is peace?

SHALOM is wholeness, well-being. Not broken but renewed, restored.

What is a peacemaker?

A person who is actively seeking to establish and maintain peace:

Peace with God,

peace within,

peace with others.

BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS.

PEACE THE ULTIMATE WORK OF GOD IN THE WORLD

Making peace is a characteristic of mature faith – the ultimate work of God.

What legacy are we leaving?

Is it One of peace

Is it One of conflict

Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called the children of God. God looks at us making peace and says, “That’s my son! That’s my daughter!”
